New tenant at Francuska Office Center

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) has concluded a lease with Bank Millennium S.A. for space at Francuska Office Center in Katowice. The lease area of 800 sq m includes office space and space to be used as a banking location.

Bank Millennium is a Polish nationwide, universal bank offering services to all market segments through a network of branches, individual advisers and electronic banking.

At Francuska Office Center, Bank Millennium will rent a total of 800 sq m, of which 700 sq m is office space. A branch of the bank will be opened in the other 100 sq m, in the retail and service section. The tenant will move in this May.

Companies already operating at Francuska Office Center include such names as Philips Lighting Poland, Berlitz Polska and Nordea Bank Polska. GTC is currently conducting negotiations with other companies interested in renting space at the project.

Francuska Office Center is located in central Katowice, at ul. Francuska 34. The first building in the complex, completed in the 2nd quarter of 2010, includes nearly 11,000 sq m of modern office space. The headquarters of many key institutions (such as local government and the regional court) and prominent Polish and international companies are located in the immediate vicinity of the GTC project.

Francuska Office Center is located adjacent to public transit stops. The project is also convenient for motorists, with direct access from ul. Francuska and easy access for travellers on the A4 motorway and national route 86. Katowice International Airport, at Pyrzowice, is about a 25-minute drive. The underground parking garage at the complex offers spaces for about 400 vehicles.

The interiors at Francuska Office Center are designed to allow tenants flexible arrangement and efficient management of the space, for such uses as back-office operations, research or laboratory activity. The complex offers companies the opportunity to grow within a single office park, which is still a rare feature in Katowice.
