GTC officialy opens first phase of FortyOne and commences the second phase of the investment

  • First building of FortyOne office complex in Belgrade was officially opened
  • The second phase of the investment will commence in a few days

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC), one of the leading commercial real estate companies in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, has officially opened the first building in its new office complex in Belgrade – FortyOne. The building of over 10,000 sq m has already reached 92% of occupancy. Very good leasing results and an increasing interest from the tenants allowed GTC to take a decision on the investment into the second building in this project. The building of over 8,000 sq m will commence in a few days and will be delivered in the third quarter of 2016.

The FortyOne project is a world-class complex comprising three office buildings with an ideal location in the New Belgrade municipality. The second phase of the project will supply another almost 8,000 sq m of the class A office space to the most demanding tenants providing them with the maximum functionality of the space built in accordance with the LEED certificate.

The second phase of the FortyOne office complex will be completed by in the third quarter of 2016.

 

ABOUT FORTYONE

GTC FortyOne is a world-class complex of three office buildings ideally located in the New Belgrade municipality (on the corner of Bulevar Milutina Milankovica and Bulevar Umetnosti), close to Belgrade main highway, which makes it easily accessible by both car and public transport. GTC FortyOne offers its tenants 27,400 sq m of class A office space (10,000 sq m in the first building opened in October 2015), 290 underground and 200 surface parking places. GTC gained new tenants in its galleries

  • GTC has signed a binding lease agreement with Empik Media & Fashion
  • Empik and Smyk will open their shops in Galeria Północna and Galeria Wilanów

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC), one of the leading commercial real estate companies in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, has signed lease contracts with Empik Media & Fashion group. As a result, Empik and Smyk will open their shops in Galeria Północna (being currently under construction) and Galeria Wilanów in Warsaw, the construction of which will start soon.

Empik decided to lease 460 sq. meters in Galeria Północna and 520 sq. meters in Galeria Wilanów, while Smyk will lease 730 sq. meters in Galeria Północna and 700 sq. meters in Galeria Wilanów.

I am convinced that in both galleries, Empik and Smyk will contribute to creating an attractive customer offer of tenants. We attach great importance to providing our customers with the best trade offer, and presence of both brands belonging to the company EMPIK Media & Fashion plays a key role in this” – said Justyna Markiewicz, Retail Leasing Director, GTC.

ABOUT GALERIA PÓŁNOCNA

Galeria Północna has already attracted renowned tenants, including Cinema City, LPP Group, Carrefour, H&M, and many more. Designed by the renowned APA Wojciechowski and Tzur Architects studios, the project will offer approximately 64,000 sq m of leasable space, while the customers will be provided with ca. 2,000 parking spaces. Galeria Północna will feature numerous leisure solutions, including a publicly accessible rooftop garden, walking paths and a playground. In order to confirm Galeria Północna’s status as one of the greenest buildings in its class in Poland, GTC plans to obtain LEED Gold certification for the investment. The opening is planned for Q2 2017.

ABOUT GALERIA WILANÓW

Galeria Wilanów will be the very first major new generation shopping center located in Southern Warsaw. Designed by the renowned APA Wojciechowski and Moshe Tzur Architects, the gallery is planned to provide maximum openness. The environment-friendly project features leisure areas and playgrounds. Leasable area will equal 61,000 sq. meters including 250 stores and service points. Customers will be able to make use of 2.200 parking slots in underground and roof parking. Galeria Wilanów has already attracted a number of renowned tenants, including Cinema City, Carrefour, H&M, the LPP Group and many more. Currently Galeria Wilanów investor is waiting to obtain a building permit.
