Galeria Północna to open with iSpot Apple Premium Reseller Showroom

  • Galeria Północna signed a lease agreement with iSpot Apple Premium Reseller.

iSpot Apple Premium Reseller, offering Apple’s products in Poland, became a part of Galeria Północna by signing a lease agreement for a retail space in newly developing shopping and entertainment centre located in the north eastern part of Warsaw.

iSpot is yet another key tenant adding more diversity to Galeria Północna. The recognized chain of showrooms which offer Apple products hereby joins a great list of tenants that includes the names like: Cinema City, Carrefour hypermarket, Empik, Smyk, H&M, LPP Group (the owner of such brands as Reserved or Cropp) Wólczanka, Vistula, W.KRUK, Martes Sport or Forever 21.

Galeria Północna, designed by APA Wojciechowski and Tzur Architects, will be not only the shopping mall, but mainly semi-open recreation space. The project involves the active use of the roof, which will be landscaped with green walking paths, a garden and a playground. Galeria Północna is going to shift the dynamics of Warsaw retail sales. The new modern shopping and entertainment centre, located in the north-east part of Warsaw, will aim to attract not only customers from Białołęka but also from other districts of Warsaw and its surrounding. The gallery offers around 64,000 m2 of space and 2,300 parking places.

Galeria Północna is one of the two, alongside Galeria Wilanów, most important GTC investments in Warsaw. The commercialization of Galeria Północna is executed by Cushman & Wakefield and JLL, all marketing and advertising activities are provided by Communication Unlimited agency.

Justina Ivan appointed as GTC Office Leasing Director

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC), one of the leading commercial real estate companies in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, has appointed Justina Ivan as Office Leasing Director Poland with immediate effect.

Ms. Ivan has extensive multi-disciplinary managerial experience and knowledge spanning all aspects of commercial property management due to having held various positions within the GTC group in the CEE region since 2008. She worked for 3 years in Romania as Head of Sales and Marketing before moving on to become Asset Manager of GTC’s Galleria shopping center chain. Subsequently, she spent a year working in Bulgaria, where she took over the responsibility for all the aspects of Galleria Stara Zagora and stabilized the shopping center’s position by developing a long-term strategy and creating a permanent management team.

Afterwards, Ms. Ivan was appointed Head of Commercial Leasing in the Czech Republic, where she served for 4 years. Among her many successes, she achieved full occupancy and stabilization of the Harfa Office Park, concluding lease transactions with ING Bank, LG Electronics, Canon, TNS Aisa and the Czech Ministry of Education.

As Office Leasing Director in Poland, she will be heading the leasing team being responsible for all aspects in the commercialization process of GTC’s growing assets portfolio.

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC), one of the leading commercial real estate companies in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, has signed binding lease contracts with RTV Euro AGD for 1 200 sq. meters in Galeria Północna and 1 300 sq. meters in Galeria Wilanów.

RTV Euro AGD, the latest tenant of this new-generation shopping and entertainment malls, decided to lease retail space in both Galeria Północna and Galeria Wilanów. With 232 shops in 142 cities across the country, RTV Euro AGD is one of the largest consumer electronics shopping chains in Poland. The agreement further diversifies Galeria Północna and Galeria Wilanów offer and increases the attractiveness of the malls for the future customers allowing them to enjoy technological novelties available at arms’ length.

Galeria Wilanów will be the very first major new generation shopping center located in southern Warsaw. Designed by the renowned APA Wojciechowski and Moshe Tzur architecture studios, the gallery is planned in such a way as to provide maximum openness. The environment-friendly project features leisure areas and playgrounds. Leasable area will equal 61,000 sq. m including ca. 250 stores and service points. Customers will be able to make use of 2,200 parking slots in underground and roof parking. Galeria Wilanów has already attracted a number of renowned tenants including Carrefour, H&M, the LPP Group and many more. Galeria Wilanów is at the final stage of activities that need to be performed prior to commencing construction works. An application for building permit has been submitted.
