The tenants of the first building in the complex – Nothus, will move in by the end of March. The interest in the second building – Zephirus, scheduled for completion in August 2008, remains strong.

The office of NovoNordisk in Zephirus (9,100 sq m NRA) will include an area of 2,100 sq m. The Danish pharmaceutical company, with nearly 100 years history of operations, specializes in production of insulin. NovoNordisk employs 25,500 people in 80 countries, while its products are sold on 179 markets worldwide.

Another renowned tenant of Okęcie Business Park is the world’s third largest home improvement retail group – Kingfisher, which manages a chain of 755 DYI stores like Castorama, Brico Depot and B&Q in 9 countries in Europe and Asia. Kingfisher leased 700 sq m of office space in the Nothus building.

NovoNordisk and Kingfisher have joined the list of current tenants of the complex, including Moeller Electric (1,200 sq m), Mitsubishi (1,100 sq m) and LOTGround Services (1,800 sq m).

Okęcie Business Park is being developed by Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) on 17 Stycznia Street, next to the headquarters of LOT Polish Airlines and the Polish Airport Authority (PPL), as well as close to the VIP terminal for private jets. Upon completion the complex will consist of six buildings with total NRA of approx.54,000 sq m. It will be the first business park in Warsaw adjacent to Okęcie International Airport.

“The interest of tenants in the Nothus and Zephirus buildings is a prove of the international trend: business centers located next to international airports in large cities enjoy growing demand all over the world. In the case of Okęcie Business Park another advantage is the convenient connection with the main route leading from Warsaw to the south of the country and with popular residential districts like Ursynów and Natolin,” said Karol Klin, Director of the Office Space Leasing team at CB Richard Ellis.

The buildings in Okęcie BP were designed by APA Kuryłowicz & Associates architecture studio, led by the renowned Polish architect Prof. Stefan Kuryłowicz. The concept design emphasized both the natural features of the surrounding area (a natural pond, ample greenery etc.) and the proximity of the airport.

Warbud S.A. is the general contractor for the first two buildings. Jones Lang LaSalle and CB Richard Ellis are the exclusive agents responsible for leasing of office space.

The total cost of Okęcie Business Park is estimated at EUR 120 million.

In 2008 GTC will complete more than 50,000 sq m of modern office space in Warsaw. In addition to buildings constructed within Okęcie BP, two buildings ofPlatinium Business Park are being erected at the intersection of Domaniewska and Wołoska streets and the Nefryt office building at the corner of Domaniewska and Rodziny Hiszpanskich streets.
