New TK Maxx store opening in March 2011 at Galeria Jurajska

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC), the owner and manager of Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa, has signed a lease with TK Maxx for 2,850 sqm of retail space on the ground floor of the mall, in the location that has so far been occupied by the home appliance store Avans. TK Maxx offers clothing, footwear, accessories and items for the home from famous brands and designers at up to 60% off the regular retail price.

TK Maxx belongs to the American group TJX Companies, with over 2,500 locations in the US and Canada and over 250 stores in Europe, including 7 in Poland. The TK Maxx store at Galeria Jurajska will be one of three new locations for the chain that will begin operations in the near future.

90% of the products offered at TK Maxx stores are from the most recent collections, and 10% from past seasons. TK Maxx offers products from over 3,000 well-known manufacturers from all over the world.

The TK Maxx store at Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa will open to the public in March 2011.

Galeria Jurajska is the third retail and entertainment centre opened by Globe TradeCentre S.A. (GTC) in Poland, and the first modern facility of its type in Częstochowa. The mall opened in October 2009.

Galeria Jurajska is situated in the immediate vicinity of national road no. 1, connecting North and South of Poland.

Total area of Galeria Jurajska is 130 000 sq m, of which 49 000 sq m is the retail space, acommodating 200 stores and service points, as well as a multiplex cinema – Cinema City.

The offer of Galeria Jurajska includes stores of the most popular Polish and international brands. For many of them it was a debut on the local retail market. Among others, Alma, Peek & Cloppenburg, LPP Group – Reserved, Cropp, Home & You, Esotiq, House, Mohito, Inditex group – Zara, Bershka i Stradivarius, C&A, Euro RTV AGD, Intersport, Empik, H&M, New Yorker, KappAhl, Smyk, Rossmann, Kakadu, Sephora, Douglas, Promod, Max Mara, Trussardi, s.Oliver, or Apart have opened their stores in Galeria Jurajska.

To provide comfort for customers, also a car park for over 2000 vehicles has been built. The mall has also an excellent access to public transportation, with 9 local and 6 regional bus lines stopping in front of the building.
